Introduction

2,335 tools, one page

I got tired of losing good tools in old bookmarks, so I built a directory instead.

very few months I'd rediscover a tool I'd bookmarked, forgotten, and never used again, buried in a folder named "Tools (2023)," a Notion page I stopped updating in March, or a tweet I liked at 1am and never opened. Multiply that by every AI model, icon pack, color picker, and Framer plugin I've tried over the past two years, and what I actually had wasn't a resource library. It was tool amnesia.

So I stopped bookmarking and started indexing. The Index is a single page that holds everything I use or recommend, generative AI tools, inspiration sites, icon libraries, device mockups, stock photography, typography, color, marketing platforms, web builders, and more. Fifteen categories, one search bar, zero scrolling through a stale doc to find the tool you half-remember.

A bookmark folder is a graveyard. Nothing here is included because I saved it once and forgot about it, every tool is there because I'd actually recommend it, with a one-line description of what it's good for and an honest pricing tag: Free, Freemium, Free + Paid, whatever's actually true. Search doesn't stay locked to whatever category you're browsing, either. Type "background removal" and it searches all 2,335 tools at once, not just the ones filed under AI Tools.

Why?

I wanted browsing 2,300 tools to feel like using one good tool, not scrolling a spreadsheet.

So I built it as a dashboard, not a blog list. Checkboxes, live filters, a running tool count, a "download selected" button that exports your shortlist straight to a CSV file. Sort by price, filter by section, or just search and go. It's a real component on this site, not a link to some spreadsheet you have to remember exists.

My Experience

Browse The Index

This isn't a finished artifact, it's the tool I wish existed, so I'm keeping it that way. New tools get added as I actually use them, dead links get pulled, and if there's something I should add, I want to hear about it.
